Process piping is where Florida Mechanical does the work most mechanical contractors will not touch. We fabricate and install the piping systems behind food-processing plants, pharmaceutical facilities, water and wastewater treatment, refrigeration and aerospace work — systems where the fluid, the pressure or the purity requirement rules out ordinary pipefitting.
The materials are the tell. Carbon and stainless steel are table stakes. Hastelloy, Inconel, Zeron 100, Chromaloy P-11 and P-22, duplex stainless and abrasion-resistant alloys are where most shops stop and we keep going, with certified welders, orbital and computer-aided welding, and a network of outside welding consultants for independent verification.
Most of the work happens in our 10,000-square-foot shop: pipe spools, manifolds, skid-mounted equipment and modular racks built indoors on positioners, then delivered ready to set. It is tighter, cleaner and faster than field-welding the same system.
A process system fails at the weld, the material or the tolerance. We control all three: certified welders producing X-ray quality welds, alloys matched to what the pipe will carry, and shop fabrication on positioners that holds tolerances field work cannot.
